This wiki presents the flute teaching and artistic contributions of Canadian flutist, composer, teacher, and new music proponent Robert Aitken. It is part pedagogy and part biography. The two go hand in hand; students of Aitken have become his artistic collaborators and friends.

The wiki is under development. Once the data structures, data displays, and queries are fully developed, the site will be populated with extensive details on life events and accomplishments--concerts, recordings, masterclasses, institutional work, compositions, teaching, travel, reviews, recognition, and key family life events. Once the site has core details spanning Aitken's career, it will be advertised widely and contributions will be invited from friends and associates and others who have benefited from Aitken's contributions.
